Black teas are traditionally the most popular of all teas, and make up the majority of tea enjoyed worldwide. All teas come from theCamellia sinensis plant. Black tea leaves begin like all tea leaves, green. They are then completely oxidized by a process that involves withering, drying, rolling, and firing. During that process, their flavorful characteristics are revealed, from fruity to flowery and spicy to nutty.
