Oolong teas are unique in that they are oxidized less than black teas but more than green teas.  This variability is a result of each batch being carefully crafted by hand.  The individuality of the tea masters result  in the  flavor and cup color of the tea being just as diverse; from nearly green to almost black.  Once steeped, the flavor of oolong tea is smooth, intensely complex and full-bodied, striking a perfect balance between delicate sweetness that is fragrant and fruity.  In order to savor the subtle flavors, oolongs are best enjoyed straight, without milk or sugar.
