Established in 1864 and regarded as one of the top tea estates in the Southern Darjeeling region, this tea garden was given its unusual name by the owner in memory of his daughter, Margaret. Upon her arrival to the estate she was enchanted with its beauty and, before sailing back to England, she promised to return. Sadly, she became ill and died during the voyage home. It is said that Margaret frequently visits the bungalow on the western side of the estate. Margaret’s Hope consistently remains one of our family's favorite Darjeelings. This tea conveys fruity notes and provides you with a full-bodied taste.
